Winter Floodlit League
The club has entered two teams (1 Mens and 1 Ladies) in the Middlesex LTA Winter Floodlit League for the first time this year. Both teams enter the league in Division 6 and will play seven games between September and March. Karolina Lepkowska will captain the Ladies team and Andrew Medhurst will captain the Men. If anyone is interested in being considered for either team please reply to this email with a contact telephone and we will forward your details to the respective captains. The first matches will be played on Monday 24 and Thursday 27 September. A full fixture list is available on the Blogsite (see below) or on the Middlesex LTA website.

Tennis Blogsite
Have you checked our Blogsite yet? This is just one of the ways we hope to keep you informed of what's going on and events affecting the Parsons Green Tennis Section. Please have a look and tell us what you think...if anyone prefers a picture of John Lord rather than Rafael Nadal just let us know. To ensure our site is widely used by members expect to see wireless internet in the bar very soon (OK I'm joking!) To access the blogsite click HERE (some of you may be barred from accessing blogsites at work).

Google Calendar
Have you discovered Google Calendar yet? If you have, you might like to know we have created a Google calendar for the PGC Tennis Section which contains the dates for Social Tennis (Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays) and the club fixtures in the Winter Floodlit league - you can check it out by clicking on the link on the Blogsite. It's a public calendar so can be viewed by everyone. Could this technology replace the paper floodlight booking sheets we ask?

Annual Dinner & Dance (and prize-giving)

To those of you that diligently noted 29Sep as the date of the above function we must apologise because the date has rather crept up on your Committee and so we will re-arrange for a later date. Trouble is there's not one remaining Saturday night available at the club before the next year. Should we consider a Friday night in October or November or choose a Saturday night in January? Thoughts please...
