Wimbledon Ticket Ballot 2007

Parsons Green Tennis have been allocated just 19 pairs of tickets for the 2007 Championships (Mon 25 June to Sun 8 July) on Centre and No.1 courts and this email indicates the ballot process which gives all paid up tennis members the chance to purchase one of the available pairs of tickets. Pairs of tickets can cost between £68 and £174 depending on which show court and which date of the Championships.

The pairs of tickets available are as follows (dates in brackets):-
  • Centre Court x 10 (25, 26, 27, 28, 30 June 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 July)
  • No 1 Court x 9 (25, 26, 27, 29, 30 June 2, 3, 4, 5 July)

The general rules of the ballot are as follows:-

  • Members wishing to enter the ballot must pro-actively apply to be included;
  • Every member in the ballot must have paid their 2007 subscription upon application or will be inelligible;
  • The choice of which days to attend will be offered in the order that entries are drawn in the ballot and communicated by telephone or email;
  • Payment must be made within 7 days of the ballot by bank transfer, cash or cheque or tickets will be re-allocated to unsuccessful entries on the reserve list;
  • The closing date to apply to be included in the ballot is 9pm on Monday 21 May;
  • A copy of this notice will also be posted on the Tennis Noticeboard at the club for those members not on email. Each entry in the ballot will consist of two members' names either stated at the time of entry or paired up by the Tennis Committee. Entries can be communicated to the Committee by replying to this email (preferred) or by letter to Parsons Green Wimbledon Ballot c/o 25 Park Mansions, South Lambeth Road, London SW8 1TP and must contain the following details:-
    Your name;
    Your telephone number;
    Your email address (if any);
    The name of the person with whom you have chosen to go with (or you will be paired up with another member);
